Located in Athens Georgia, the Pinewoods Community includes the Pinewoods mobile home neighborhood and the Pinewoods Library and Community Education Center. In partnership with LACSI, many native Latin American species were planted. Working in the Pinewoods Community is a priority to the LAEG as this partnership gives back to the Athens community and celebrates the Latinx presence in Athens.
