Job description The Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute (LACSI) is looking for an intern for fall 2026 through May 2027.The position requires approximately 9 hours of work per week (times are flexible) and will mainly involve working in three areas: The intern will design materials and manage the online presence of LACSI on social media (Instagram) as well as the Institute’s website and newsletter The intern will assist LACSI staff in filing and collecting university data related to the Institute The intern will help organize, promote, set up, document (e.g., taking pictures), Institute or Institute-sponsored, and LACSI joint-faculty events. These events are often on weekdays but may require occasional weekend attendance. As an intern, you will receive an honorarium of up to $1,000 at the end of the semester, based on weekly hours spent at the position. You will also have the opportunity to get academic credit for the experience.
