The Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute (LACSI) is looking for an intern for fall 2026 through May 2027.

The position requires approximately 9 hours of work per week (times are flexible) and will mainly involve working in three areas: 

• The intern will design materials and manage the online presence of LACSI on social media (Instagram) as well as the Institute’s website and newsletter
• The intern will assist LACSI staff in filing and collecting university data related to the Institute
• The intern will help organize, promote, set up, document (e.g., taking pictures), Institute or Institute-sponsored, and LACSI joint-faculty events.  These events are often on weekdays but may require occasional weekend attendance.  

As an intern, you will receive an honorarium of up to $1,000 at the end of the semester, based on weekly hours spent at the position.

You will also have the opportunity to get academic credit for the experience.
