Assistant Professor, School of Environmental, Civil, Agricultural, and Mechanical Engineering Felix Santiago-Collazo is an Assistant Professor in Resilient Infrastructure for Sustainability and Equity at the School of Environmental, Civil, Agriculture, and Mechanical Engineering. Felix holds an M.S. and B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University. He is a board member of UNESCO’s Division of Water Sciences for Latin America & Caribbean, which advocates for implementing and disseminating knowledge in flood solutions to Latin America. He leads the Compound Inundation Team for Resilient Applications (CITRA) research group at the College of Engineering. CITRA Lab is the nexus between research and application by developing and implementing practical solutions to complex water-related problems from inland to the coast. Some of the services we offer are research, engineering designs, fieldwork, outreach, and education. Our research is focused on multi-flood hazard assessments, hybrid infrastructure solutions, smart water systems, and water equity.
